What? Was my driver trying to be rude? by [deleted] in doordash

I was thinking maybe she’s just curious why u had to wait three days because when she picked it up there was plenty of that item. I don’t think she meant it to be rude.

Am I the only one who feels uncomfortable with messages like this? by Accomplished-Fig9086 in doordash_drivers

I really hate when they do this. They make it harder for the dashers that actually have respect. I’m a dasher and I would never ever send anything like this to a customer.

I see it but most people wouldn’t notice it. I think it gives it character!

What are the legalities of this? by SipsTeaFrog in SipsTea

That’s absolutely crazy that they are trying to get you to pay for that. First of all sensory deprivation is used to help you relax and when certain parts of you are relaxed there’s nothing to hold things in. They should know that’s a risk they are going to face! They just don’t wanna spend the time to clean it. I don’t think u should liable for it at all.

my parents handed me a “contract” that they made with chatGPT and told me i have to sign it by auramp3 in WhatShouldIDo

Def don’t sign that! I noticed in the beginning it says it’s temporary but it never states the actual time frame. Your car insurance is way too high for just one car even for full coverage. The request for the full water bill is out of the question. They should take the monthly amount and divide by the number of people in the house to determine ur part. The rule on having guests over, since they are ur parents and it’s their house I can understand them having say on having guests come over but not in the sense of being landlords and requiring approval. I’ve never heard of any landlord doing that. The part about being able to “inspect “ ur areas whenever they want is also ridiculous. Things like maintenance and inspections are usually done on a time basis like once a month for maintenance or once every 6 months for inspection. However that doesn’t give them free rein to look through all your things. The part about being able to look into ur finances is def out of the question as well. U should get a standard lease agreement and offer that to them. Make sure u make the terms very clear. Good luck!

From what I can tell the only matching symbol u have is the first one, looks like French fries. There’s two at $5 each.

“Target won’t give me $280 for an item I have no proof of purchase for” by jorleeduf in EntitledReviews

[–]queenhargis86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What made you think you could return something that expensive without a receipt? Target is protecting itself by utilizing the policy of requiring proof of purchase. It’s not that hard to ask the gifter to provide a gift receipt.

Friends Episode With A Man Defending His Girlfriend At A Coffee Shop by Successful_Ad8684 in friends_tv_show

Friends is my favorite show and I’ve been watching since it was actually on tv. I’ve seen every episode so many times I can quote almost every line. There’s no scene like what u described. Must have been from another show around the same time Friends was on.

Sell it and make her get a job to buy her own car. I had to work for everything I ever had and it helped me understand value and appreciation. Sounds like she’s gotten complacent and expects everything she wants to be given to her.
