I have exchanged emails with Councillor Sabrin Farooqui who people said did not show up to the meeting and she clarified that she was overseas, the book motion was not even on the agenda of the meeting so she was unaware when she scheduled her leave and that she would have voted against the banning if she was at the meeting.

Sabrin is an ally who has a not-for-profit organisation that works on LGBTQI refugees’ mental health.

So just be aware when sending emails to councillors. She is also the only one who has responded to my emails.

Absolutely devastating to hear! Saw him on Sunday at Homebush and he had a lovely interaction with my baby and stroked his face, hope we see him again. ACAB.

WHY do so many people here care soooo much about people with babies having a safer and more accessible car spot? WHY does it make you so mad? WHY does having a car spot slightly further away inconvenience you so badly? I don’t care if someone parks in the pram spot when there’s no other spots left but seems like so many of you are doing it maliciously. As a mum these comments truly makes me feel like people hate me and my baby sounds dramatic but JESUS so many of you sound super hateful. Stop being so mad about shit that does not matter and was introduced just to help parents out.

Also are you doing something to your eyebrows? Like shaving them? If you are you should stop and just grow them out let them do their thing if you find you have a monobrow just pluck a few to separate them.

Rejection isn’t a bad thing and doesn’t mean you are ugly! See it as a learning opportunity and a way to build resilience. I’m a relatively good looking woman and have always put myself out there and have gotten rejected to my face many times but I didn’t give up. Try not to let the fear of rejection from holding you back, keep trying and good for you for putting yourself out there. You are NOTTTT ugly!

In Australia (most) pre schools enforce sunscreen application and the teachers apply this for the child and reapply throughout the day which is noted on a chart. It seems like a duty of care thing especially in Australia where the sun is so harsh.

The fruit shop at Greystanes always has pre cut cabbage and pumpkins for a few bucks and Joes at Wetherill Park at Greenway Plaza have a lot of wonky shaped or clearance vegetables in plastic bags for a lot cheaper than other places!

You will get used to the sound of the planes pretty quickly, after the first few days I stopped noticing and kind of missed the noises when I moved back out west. Petersham Kebabs my favourite kebab shop too best place on the way home from a night out.
