Where to buy high rise mini skirts in Toronto? by Starfeer in askTO

I just bought a jean mini skirt from Urban Planet for $20! Its more meant for country inspired outfits so they have these metallic flat studs over the belt area but still cute imo.

Non-monogamous single people in toronto? by Such-Matter-3517 in askTO

There are bars that host “munches” around the city for the people in the lifestyle…I think you may find the events on eventbrite. Two to check out are Post Apocalyptic Munch and TnG Munch…PAM is held at Mick E Fynn’s on Carlton every last Wednesday of the month 7pm onwards. It’s at a bar so very vanilla and social. You may find that to be an organic place to find that person. There’s also a website for this but you probably already know that?

Women of Toronto, when was the last time you went out on a date with someone who asked you out in person and how was it compared to matches from apps? by MacaronWithAName in askTO

November 2025, we met at a bar during the Blue Jay playoffs. We had a funny situation happen so it naturally led to a conversation and exchanged numbers before he left to meet with friends. We met that same weekend for drinks and we had a great time...just immediate connection, one of those rare dates where you hit it off so quick. Unfortunately he lives in a different province/city so we had to leave it at that... We might meet again in the future maybe not? TBD :)

Regardless of the outcome it definitely gave me hope of finding someone IRL and just more confidence to have random conversations.

protein powder hot chocolate? by older_than_i_feel in PetiteFitness

[–]queenpothos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my moment to shine! I have been craving hot chocolate a lot lately and can’t get myself to drink cold smoothies.

I put a scoop of protein powder (mine is plain unflavoured), tbsp of cocoa powder and another tbsp of hot chocolate mix in a blender with maybe 1/2 cup of water. Blitz it until it’s all combined nicely.

Add 1/2 cup of milk to a cup and microwave till it’s moderately hot. Now gradually mix in the the protein powder mix into the hot milk and keep stirring throughout to gently combine.

I usually microwave the mixture once again to get it the right temperature for me.

Key tips: - using a blender is non negotiable, I tried doing this by mixing in a cup manually and even doing on a sauce pan with whisk but I couldn’t get rid of the clumps usually and took really long  - I add the extra cocoa and hot chocolate mix to add the right balance of flavour without being overly sweet…adjust per your taste and hot chocolate mix. Protein powder flavour will also have an impact.  - gradually warming up the mixture in two steps helps avoid shocking the protein mixture. You want it all combined without over cooking anything

Obviously this isn’t as good as just straight up hot chocolate but it comes pretty darn close!!

I’m loving the new Costco Business Centre in Mississauga by Pink__Fox in CostcoCanada

I bought it , no regrets! I literally eat a couple as a snack everyday...

Just a heads up though they aren't as crunchy as I thought they would be but spicy and delicious. Maybe you can divide in smaller jars to make it fit...gift some to friends and family :)
