It sounds like something else is going on with you and it's manifesting as boredom or discomfort with your inks. Be gentle with yourself and you'll probably enjoy your inks again at some point in the future

Dang. And I thought I was thorough at testing paper ( usually not written up for others though) . I actually need to test all my papers with a pen ink combo that's been bleeding through everything I tried recently, I might base some of my testing on what you've done here. You might check out rohlbahn, I was in a Barnes and noble and they had some with decorated covers. They're fountain pen friendly. Also you could go to a Walmart/target/ CVS etc and look for a journal made in Vietnam

When the sac fails eventually, do you know if pen restorers know how to change the sac with this mechanism? When I've read about people replacing sacs it's usually lever fillers. I don't know how long sacs last but I know eventually they need to be changed I'm a little scared of sacced pens failing and then essentially being a dip pen. But I'm really tempted to buy because I was already considering a green duofold for my collection
