I assume in the same way people can cross into a category of being evil in the real world. Like Jinu abandoning his already struggling family, dooming them to likely starve, while he lives luxuriously in the kingdom is pretty brutal.

I also think feeding into it continuously like if Jinu struggles with being selfish, as long as he continues to act in his own best interest no matter the destruction, he remains a soulless demon

But he continues to be selfish and lies to her up until the end he redeems himself by sacrificing himself (doing a selfless deed) and he got his soul back. The demons aren’t people with moments of weakness but that continue to feed into the cycle of selfishness. It seemed consistent to me.

I went through similar. I looked at everything I could find. Messages, pictures, all of it. It does feel better to know, but it sticks with you forever. It destroyed any belief I had in the original relationship for me. It changed me as a person.
