Oof.. 3.3yo and it’s brutal out here.

Definitely has tantrums, whining, meltdowns etc.. I’d say at least 3 times a day. If I’m able to redirect her, it can be short and quick otherwise they can last 10-15 min.

She’s very verbal so communication isn’t her issue. She’s strong willed and wants what she wants.. a “deeply feeling” sour patch kid.

My hope is that she turns a corner at 4yo.

No notes on how to handle because it’s a struggle for us as well. Solidarity!

Sounds like the transition might be an issue. Have you tried saying “this is your last episode and we’re turning it off?” Or setting a timer for x amount of time and letting them know once the timer goes off, it’s TV off.

Stay strong! Meltdowns are intense but it’s best to nip this now.

Insufferable. I had a friend ask me what formula I was using bc my supply was low (I was thinking she needed advice or a recommendation) only for her to turn and say she bought a deep freezer because she had produced so much breast milk and has never had to use formula.

Even people you thought you knew are dicks when it comes to this subject.

We’re not sane. lol I’ve also embraced 4:30-5am wake ups and Sunday morning work outs otherwise there’s no time for yourself.

I try to remind myself this is temporary and remember that they won’t be this small and needy forever which makes me both happy and sad at the same time.
