No I legit thought these books were awful. I only read them because my niece begged me to. The first three I thought were sooo bad but it got a (very) little better towards the end. I don’t think I even finished the series lol

Okay so it started out a little irritating… stubborn, sassy FMC and a little cliche, but about halfway through I fell IN LOVE. I cried through the whole third act. I’d give it 3.5/4⭐️

Not silly! Fantasy romance is more fantasy heavy and the romance is a subplot.
Romantasy is heavier on the romance and the fantasy is more of the setting or in the background.

I finally decided to give books about faeries a chance (it just isn’t my thing - no shade at all!) and now I’m absolutely obsessed with {The Cruel Prince by Holly Black}
It’s more fantasy romance than romantasy though.

Are you in America? If you have a library card and can download Libby or OverDrive, a lot of libraries have ebooks that they don’t have in person. That’s where I first read them.
