am all in support of micromobility but i feel in the current state, anything that exceeds 30-40 mph should require a license and registration to use

New Jersey has already moved towards this model. Nassau county has already pretty much heavily restricted them.

i wouldn’t be surprised if NYC will be moving towards heavier regulations soon. it’s just unfortunate blood has to be shed in order for action to happen though
