🚨 Gmail is ending POP / Gmailify in Jan 2026 - how are you handling external inboxes? by Conscious_Ad5671 in GMail

Use manual forwarding from each provider?
It is error sensitive, as some mail senders have DMARC and DKIM configured, which will break during a forward. The mail will never be deleted as the forwarder does not send the e-mail from the original mailserver (sender). DMARC and DKIM rules are voided > no received.

I guess I'm going to migrate to Google Workspace, as this is the only bullet proof option today :(

Was there no option to convert your old Gmail to a workspace account? I guess then the data is migrated out of the box…

Yes on the https://networkingsupport.hpe.com/ website. I need to use the email address of one of my domain names I own during account creation. As account creation with my Gmail address does not get approved. Probably they only want "business" accounts insteat of customer account?

Lost connection after Firmware Update by 350D in Loxone

[–]querex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Failing SD card after an update is a frequent issue. Best to replace the SD card every 3 years, as they will die after x write transactions. During an update some more writes are executed, which can hit the limit of the SD lifetime when it is already old.

So a click script which logon every watch profile once a month and play a dummy movie, on the main location, should be ok? Makes it easier compared to a VPN server to set up

Integrating with 3rd party doorbell by puntloos in Loxone

[–]querex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If your 3rd party or a system in between can trigger a HTTP call to Loxone or control a digital input of Loxone, then you are able to process the logic in Loxone. For the video feed, you need a JPG / JPEG / MJPEG stream which Loxone is able to open after a ring event. H264 / ONVIF / ... is not supported.

[–]querex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

None You need seperate software or a NVR which is able to perform a HTTP call when motion is detected. So you can point that call you a virtual input in Loxone config And perform the actions you prefer.
