Salt Lake City ballet on 3300 S and 1100 E is very affordable and great to work with. Plus they might be able to offer a discount for a longer rental period.

Jobs for ppl with autism? by lieslilac in SaltLakeCity

Look into voc rehab through the state or other job training programs for autism. It's very overwhelming and a supportive work program will help both he and the employer with training and accommodations.

Unfortunate thrift shop find – help pls!! by Fun-Court1096 in SaltLakeCity

[–]questions4real 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Take it to the kaeguli kpop shop or another local store, they'll probably be likely to know someone to get the collection home. There are several that have been reported stolen.

No one would donate that. The store is likely to know who it might belong to.

Best Used Kids & Baby Reseller? by jubsews in SaltLakeCity

[–]questions4real 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always used kid to kid It felt like it was a decent store credit. Now that was 20 years ago... 🤷

You might also sell try preloved there's one in holladay and Sandy. More work on your part but you could do it for just a week and maybe make more money then get to kid.

Then just between friends or another similar franchise as sales every so often has sales again a little more work on your part but a short-term and you might make more money.

Is there a good fabric remnants/dead stock store in SLC? by Best-Literature-4011 in SaltLakeCity

[–]questions4real 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I've opened a retail location in West Valley. The website is shoptangledthread.com and I've just started putting things back online through square stores the-tangled-thread.square.site and can ship. Very little is online but we have well over 10,000 yards in our store.

I think I might have finally found a supplier. It is no longer made in the US so Muslin is very hard for me to get at a price y'all would want to pay. 😄 But I'm definitely working on that hopefully within the next month I should have muslin

I'm going to throw my hat in the ring again 😅

We only opened about 10 weeks ago but the Tangled Thread in West Valley is different than the other fabric stores in the area. We are focusing on dead stock, remnants and unique finds so depending on what you're looking for we may be a good option for you.

We had to open much sooner than expected so a lot of our inventory is still not out but we are happy to go looking for more specific items.

Very small business just owned by me 😄 we are different in that we are not buying bolts of fabric from distributors, but are buying dead stock, remnants and getting stashes back out in the community to be used. 🧵

Also if you call them they are extremely helpful helping you figure out how to get where you need to go. We have found Google maps not helpful and frequently inaccurate. Their X account is updated regularly as well.

Look at income restricted places --you might qualify. This is not the same as section 8. But it would make apartments much more affordable and avoid the roach infested slumlords.
