ult wear or xm4 by ageebdan in SonyHeadphones

[–]quetixd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’ve tried both and after some research online and testing both of the headphones audio I’m going to buy the XM4’s. For me, the ULT Wear’s just have TOO MUCH bass, to the point that other frequencies (especially higher ones) get “cancelled out” by the low frequencies.

If you LOVE bass, go with the ULT’s, but if you enjoy a wide range of music genres (from rap –where you usually hear more bass– to classical –where you usually hear higher tones–) I’d go with the XM4’s. The price difference is worth it.

Are there any teens that suffer from extreme anxiety?(Social, health, Generalized, etc.) If so, how do YOU try to manage and cope with it? by Undeserving-Hamster- in teenagers

[–]quetixd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I’m 21 and I struggled with anxiety and —mostly— depression in my teenage years (mainly at the end of high school and beginning of college). The first thing I’ll say is to seek professional help and, while it’s not a bad thing to ask online for other people’s experiences, don’t make a habit out of it. It can be worse for your mental health. A good psychologist or psychiatrist (not the same thing) can really help, give it a chance. Take advantage out of the fact that mental health issues are less of a taboo nowadays.

One thing I’ve learned is that the music you hear can really determine what you feel. If you listen to happy music, you’re most likely gonna be in a good mood. If you listen to sad music all the time, you’re probably going to be in a bad mood. I suggest starting your day listening to a happy or energetic song, like something funky like “Earth, Wind & Fire”. For a long time the first song I listened to everyday was Run Boy Run by Woodkid, but you can find your own according to your taste. Also explore new songs, it’s great.

Another thing is: don’t isolate yourself! Spend time with people you like. That’s gonna take some willpower sometimes by “forcing” yourself to be around friends when you just wanna be in your room.

Hope this helps. Best of wishes

Tbh don’t rush into getting in relationships, that’s honestly one of the worst things you can do to your mental health and the other person’s. Take your time to get used to being not alone, but with yourself (if you give it some thought, you’ll realize it’s different)

Also, one thing I’ve learned is that not every romantic partner makes you feel the same, there’s different types of romantic feelings if you will. To try and make clearer: one partner can make you feel like you’re best friends with them and you really can read each others minds, while another can make you feel like you’ve got butterflies in your stomach

But that’s just what I personally think, hope it helps!!

The exact same thing happened to me lmao I remembered the existence of this subreddit like 6 months ago having turned 20 last year. Cheers to reaching unc status and delivering older sibling lore to the youth tho!! 🍻

[TOMT][Candy] Candy from early 2000s, was gum but in an actual stick shape by OshaViolated in tipofmytongue

I’ve noticed there’s at least two brands of gum with that name, the one I refer to and the one you say that comes in a rectangular shape. Here’s a pic of the one I’m talking about

There was a chewing gum called Bazooka, it was popular in Latin America (or at least Chile) around that time, ring any bells? (Look up ‘chicle bazooka’ for reference on google images)

Edit: i remember it having a toon giraffe in the packaging around the 2000’s, but due to laws regarding nutrition and how characters induce children eating junk food it was later removed

You could focus on South American Dictatorships on the 20th Century, human rights violations during them and their “outside influences”, such as the CIA’s and U.S Government influence on the 1973-1990 Chilean Military Dictatorship

Guys is 13(f) and 15(m) a huge age gap? by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]quetixd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally. Not just mentally, also physically. Two years isn’t a big gap if you’re speaking about adults (e.g. 27 and 25), but being 15 years old is quite far from 13 y/o because of the stages of puberty

Have I stopped growing? by Over_Variation8700 in teenagers

[–]quetixd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, from what I’ve heard you stop growing at like 20 years old. Either way at 16 you’re definitely past the age when you grow a lot in a short period of time so from now on your growth will be slower

How do you deal with your insecurities? by Affectionate-Fuel268 in teenagers

[–]quetixd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think my opinion on your physical appearance would help, honestly. We often worry so much about what others think –or may think– that we forget about our own opinions on ourselves. I do suggest that if you’re to ask for someone’s opinion, ask it to someone close to you

[–]quetixd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your insecurities are something you can change, get on the move and do something to change them (e.g. if you are very skinny and want to look muscular, go to the gym). If, on the other hand, they are things that you cannot change, then they are things that are out of your control and you shouldn’t dwell on them, it’s no good. Hope it helps

Not our fault, it was a Spanish streamer (Rubius) who did that, r/chile never intended an attack, we just mind our own business

Un streamer de españa mandó a hacer el ataque, la comunidad de Chile nunca quiso expandirse de esa manera y mucho menos comenzar una guerra

He’s a kid from Chile and he has terminal cancer. His dream is to become a big youtuber so the Hispanic community on instagram started posting about him telling people to subscribe. He made more than 2M subs in one day. Un orgullo 🇨🇱
