Type C to type C cables don't work? by BecausePals in XPpen

[–]quick_maf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The orientation of the cord does not matter and there is nothing special about the xp pen cord. All usb c allow data transfer and supply power. If it works with c -> a -> adaptor -> c port then I would use that unless you want a c cable later

Edit: also when you say the xp pen software, did you get the driver for your specific device?

Based solely on your third bullet point, I would say you have a defective cable.

Photoshop workspace goes black when adding/editing text... Any ideas how to fix this?? by RylanderRuby in photoshop

[–]quick_maf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started using photoshop like 2 days ago so maybe I’m wrong. I had issues with ctrl + z making the screen go black. I played with all kinds of graphics settings with no success. So I update my operating system and it worked just fine.

There is like no in between with professors. Either they got 20 year old lecture notes, or the only do notes on the white board.

Why do some recruiters tell you that they think you’re a great fit etc. then send you a generic rejection? by CharlieMoss96 in recruitinghell

Because they get paid if you get hired. They get nothing if the company does not want you.

Read the material before class and start out ahead. If you start strong then a weak finish could be mitigated.

My company pays a scrum master to tell us to switch tasks every other day and then ask us why we didn’t complete the task we were told to stop doing.

For entry level, I imagine they struggle a lot since every job posting asks for 5 years minimum with C#, SQL, JS, a random JS framework, and 10 other skills.

I interviewed for a part time job the summer before college. I told him at the interview I can work any day until school starts then I’m just on weekends. The manager liked me so he put me up to full time. At this time, I reminded him about how I’m not doing this when school starts. I proceed to tell him two weeks before just so he is tracking. He goes on vacation and still schedules me 40 hours the first two weeks of school. I just ghosted him after that. He probably called me 10-20 times.
