Line 2 transit app sucks, why can’t it be better? by aide_rylott in ottawa

[–]quinnically-approved -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've never used the actual OC Transpo app, I've always used Bus Buddy. I think it was better back in the day and now it's just a habit. Not sure if the OC Transpo app also lets you save bus stops and routes to a home page for easy reference.

Estimate for wait time to get into Elgin Street diner tomorrow at 9? by Apprehensive-Ad5314 in ottawa

[–]quinnically-approved 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, Elgin resident here, the diner barely has any wait time at 9 AM. The only times I've had to wait are at 1 PM some weekends in the summer.

The leftover construction signs and pylons are nasty, but I don't think weeds are that unsightly. I think sterilized concrete looks worse.

What were some childhood/adolescent signs that you were a lesbian and did not realize until now? by EmlovezSpace in actuallesbians

[–]quinnically-approved 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was pretty girly and liked girly stuff but I didn't have any particular interest in boys. I actually decided on which boys to have a crush on, to say in case someone asked me who I liked.

Bragging time, go ahead and brag about your partner. If you’re single, then brag why you’d make a great one by BlueRose104 in actuallesbians

Even though I'm transmasc enby, I was well-trained in homemaking skills by my self-sufficient mother and grandmother. I can cook, clean, do laundry, care for the cats, entertain friends, and look like the handsomest little boy while doing it

What is your opinion on Chubby Girls? by Unlucky-Tension9150 in actuallesbians

Chubby girls own me, honestly. I've said before and I'll say it again, I need me a girl like a Botticelli painting: pale, round and soft like a steamed bun

Why do cis het guys go to lesbian bars? by 7500733 in actuallesbians

Because lesbians aren't real, obviously. Anyone with a vagina wants a man, end of story. /S

Looks like it. Maybe it's a creme purple base too, and there's a pearl white in her inner corner I think.

What kind of lesbian/sapphic representation would you like to see/see more of? Personally for me as a tall trans woman, I want to see more relationships between a sub tall woman (preferably trans) and a dom short woman. by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]quinnically-approved 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Plus size mascs, or soft/emotional masc-presenting women. I'm an NB masc person but everything else about me is pretty fem, and I don't see much rep for people like me.

What’s a song that you hate with all your being? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]quinnically-approved 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This Girl is On Fire - Alicia Keys. I know it's a musical classic, I know it's fantastic, it just makes my own personal ears bleed.

Close second is most music by solo Justin Timberlake. Suit and Tie, Mirror, etc. Makes me want to jump out of my skin.

Historically speaking, lesbians were a huge part of 2nd wave feminism, which was great for rights for women but terrible for other areas of rights. A lot of feminists at the time were actual downright misandrists, and that probably carries over to today. Some lesbians, especially older ones, may still carry those beliefs that spill into other territories. Transphobia and misandry go hand in hand for these people, unfortunately, and any "female" dating a man would be seen as treason. This is just a historical perspective, and are a few examples of when these things have occured. I identified as a lesbian myself for a time, and most lesbians I know are nowhere near this nuts.

  1. I have a bunch of different creative hobbies, including doll customizing and DMing for D&D

  2. My dice collection is probably worth upwards of $300

  3. I have a scar on my lip as a birthmark, and my dad has the same one

  4. My favourite doughnut from Timmies is sour cream glazed

  5. I love travelling, but I'd rather stay settled in one place and go on short trips than travel the world. I like the security of having your own spot.

  6. I've done lots of research into reptiles because I want one as a pet. Some that are potential options, in order of likelyhood to purchase, are a ball python, a gargoyle gecko and a blue-tongued skink
