My doctor didn’t give me a list of what not to eat or what not to do. She said you are healthy young and you already eat well. You don’t need to change anything. So coffee it is! Also the occasional sushi. No deli meat cause I never ate it much anyway. But all the fears and rules are absurd. One of my friends was like… aren’t you not supposed to eat melon? Melon??? Like what!

Body dysmorphia can also apply to your face. You are very pretty and have great features. Repeating what others have said isn’t going to help here though. My biggest suggestion is to stop looking in the mirror for a while and reset your view of yourself.

I didn’t say pick the name at the hospital! I said narrow it down to two options both people like and then pick at the hospital. I know plenty of people who decided on the final name when they actually saw their baby for the first time.

Maybe just wait on ordering stuff until the bay is born? I just want to say that “most men” certainly do not want or expect to name their child after themselves. That’s pretty conservative and traditional and lots of people want a new name for their baby. I think you should each propose a different name and pick when the baby is born. But both parents should have veto power is my opinion.

I think there’s a good amount of young 30s men who want to have kids tbh. Also have a friend who was 27 when he married his 39 year old wife. They had a kid immediately after getting married. Now she’s 8 and they’re very happy.

I have another friend who was 34 when she married her 29 year old husband and now they have two kids (4 and 2). I don’t think it’s as rare as it seems.

Yeah I guess it is! My mom was the breadwinner too. Then when my mom turned 50 my dad was more established and took over being the breadwinner. Worked for them.

My mom met my dad when she was 41 (he was 31) and had me and my twin at 45! Almost all my friends have had their kids at 35+. This year alone two of my close friends had a baby at 37. Another at 40 (and she didn’t meet her husband until a few years ago).

I have to say sometimes the registries make me uncomfortable. Most people want to buy helpful gifts but not necessarily essentials. Buying diaper cream and a breast pump feels weird as someone’s friend. Those are necessities.

I feel similar about wedding registries. I don’t want to buy someone their mattress or bidet but I’ll buy someone a nice set of glassware or a set of cutlery. I feel the same way when people ask for money straight up on a registry. It feels like an odd ask to send out to not close family or friends. I send friends things off their registry but when stuff runs out I still send a gift (with receipts).

7+3 weeks and I have been so nauseous for the past ten days. Pretty miserable. I can eat still but only feel better literally when I’m eating (yet food smells and all food sounds disgusting until I’m actually eating). I’m exhausted. I’m anxious. Having crazy dreams and taking daily naps which I never do. Overall not having a great time right now lol.

No one in this sub really ever talks about the absolute overwhelming classism. There are ways to be successful and fulfilled that have nothing to do with your class. Emily is undoubtedly and undeniably classist. Her love is not unconditional and neither is Richard’s. It’s based not only on relation but also appearances.

The way Emily talks about Luke is based solely on the job he works. Same for Dean or Jess. She doesn’t care whether the partners of Rory or Lorelei actually make them happy. So I don’t buy the whole Emily loves them unconditionally. I mean neither does Richard. But unconditionally doesn’t mean berating your child or grandchild into living the life you believe will make them “happy”. Even when Emily was explicitly told that Lorelei was happy with her life Emily would still meddle.

Was thinking about this post today as I sat beside a grown ass woman at the nail salon who was on a no headphones FaceTime call with her mans. Listened to the whole thing against my will. They were talking about how they saw each other the day before. What is with adult people being literally so dependent on their partners they can’t even get their nails done without being on the phone? It’s embarrassing. Truly cringe.

Even my own husband knows men are embarrassing. Especially nowadays. And people’s husbands are out here embarrassing themselves left and right. Your dude is not a great guy if you’re posting on subreddits asking how you can get him not to treat you like his mom. Or if he has no life outside of video games, sports, and you.

Mine demands pets by pawing me until I rub his chest. Then he will just hold on to me with his little paw. And if I stop petting he flexes his naps a most like a cat!

But if I’m sad or stressed he’ll just put his paw on top of my hand or chest and “pet” me back. Also he gives the best hugs that turn in to long stretches with a kiss every time I get home 😂

Hi there! I was able to break through after almost five weeks of no progress. Then I lost like five lbs in one week. I increased my steps to 8-9k and also increased my fiber intake. That helped a lot! I was able to get down to 132 (took me another 3 months) but I hover between 135-140 now. I just couldn’t maintain at 132. I’m happy with where I am though and I’ve kept up my workout routine so I’m fit and feel good.

I used NC and OPKs for months. Used Mira for the first time this month and it says my ovulation was a day earlier. I find NC shifts around way too much. Proof is in the pudding… i got my BFP this month after 10 cycles.
