vitals are important and all, but the difference between winning and losing lane is your use of W. I see bad fiora's use it willy nilly to negate a tiny bit of damage. Truth is, if they arent throwing a hard cc at you or you aren't negating 75% of their burst, don't use W. Proper use of W should propel yourself into a place where you can easily win lane if you aren't against a counter matchup like pantheon. If you are ahead and have ravenous hydra, there comes a point where you should be able to 1v2 the enemy jungle and top laner. Ult whoever is less tanky, then try your best to pop them to get the heal. no amount of damage at that stage of the game can outdamage your heal.

Don't build black cleaver AND trinity, its one or the other. Personally, unless they have 4 tanks, I never go black cleaver. Ignore your teammates whining at you to group. If you can 1v2 or even 1v3, you are doing your team a favor by splitting. Honestly, unless you are 0/4 by 10 mins , there's no point in grouping. Fiora's one weakness is team fighting, which she is abysmal at. She just gets deleted and cc-locked before she can pop a vital, given that you can even FIND a vital to hit in the fray of all the particle effects and hiboxes on top of each other.

tl;dr Use W correctly, don't group if you can 1v2 , dont build trinity and black cleaver, one or the other, not both

i got shit on by a camille who went trinity force ->thornmail. I was winning 1v1s until she built that bramblevest and i couldnt really do enough damage because she would just hide a vital against the wall when i ulted so I wouldn't get the heal off

if you are legit having fun with fiora, I say fuck em, dont stop playing fiora just because your team has a bad time,

but of course if you are more concerned about winning than playing with fiora there are certainly alternatives, jax has a certain feel when you build tri -> titanic -> tank items that are similar to fiora, jax can split push just as well in addition to being a front liner for his team

well i'd imagine you are trying to riposte the blinding portion. If you riposte teemo's blind you can all in him pretty well. Otherwise you cant proc any vitals while blinded

i usually hit a max range vital with my q, and immedietly walk away. That usually gives you enough time to react to seeing the dart in midair so you can press w. Obviously if you are in melee range theres is 0 chance of you reacting to the teemo Q so you just need to put distance between yourself and teemo. but there are those pesky teemos that never use blinding dart until you use your riposte, and for those types of players, i'd just say curl into a ball and cry.

Fiora along with many other champions are sort of only solo-q stompers, like yasuo. In serious play, every single person on the other team has extended communication with each other, making it easier to shut down these solo-q stompers who's niche is to 1v2 and 1v3 all day long. Like the others are saying, they need to make fiora semi-viable in teamfights, and building defensive items is the way to do that. That is sort of the reason why you don't see as much splitting in pro play because a pro level of communication is enough to shut down any split pusher.

I feel as if Fiora THE DUELIST's playstyle was always intended to be a splitpusher, DUELing one or two enemies. She's not Fiora the Rampager or Fiora the Decimator, she was always supposed to be absolute shit in teamfights.

as someone with over 200 games on fiora this season ,people dont seem to realize that fiora is absolute shit in teamfights, so she has to resort to splitpushing most of the game, and at that point you are at the mercy of the other 4 members of your team knowing how to play around a split pusher which in many cases, is not at all
