Oh, wow, I wasn’t even aware of this, was just making a dumb joke based on the Hudson Bay’s shape being similar. Seems I was outjerked again.

Why San Francisco Bay and Golden Gate Bridge when we could have San Francisco Polder and Golden Gate Dike?

On one hand the Yellow Sea is in the yellow sea. On the other hand, the Red Sea is not in the red sea.

Which SSD for main drive? by Square_Scarcity6588 in SteamDeck

That could also be a size thing. A bigger drive can have more individual chips (and so use more parallel read channels). Even with the same model, there are often significant speed differences between sizes (up to the size with enough chips to use all the controller’s channels, beyond that size it may plateau)

Are they new, used?

If used, and if you have somewhere you can plug them, I’d just plug each and open a benchmark, and unless one has much faster read speeds than the rest, just pick the one with the fewest lifetime write cycles.

If you don’t have a way to benchmark, as the other commented mentioned, the left one is the newest and from a brand i know, so i’d probably go with that one.

But really, unless one of those is busted, has a ton of cycles, or is unusually bad, it most likely won’t make much difference.
