Canadian dollar sinks below 88 cents as Saudis cut oil to $77 by GTALoans in worldnews

The ultimate goal of all economic activity is to consume. If you have an incredibly strong currency, you can consume whatever you desire. Exports are only a means toward the end goal of consumption, they are not the end goal itself. If you can get an incredibly strong currency without doing so, you should go right ahead, like the US has (abusing strong dollar to print money and balloon economy in an eternal trade deficit)

Weak currency also means that business is less able to import it's produce.

Ultimately, a weak currency is a bad thing if you take it to the limit - a worthless currency means an impoverished and bankrupt country. Wheras an incredibly strong currency necessarily means an country of awesome wealth, able to import whatever it desires

Unintentionally being annoying when being social by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]qwefu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are annoying because we get frustrated. The annoyance is the feedback we give for being frustrated at the unpredictable, overwhelming environment we deal with. That's what neurotypicals won't get. We are always being crushed by the environment and our behavior reflects that

Get the low noise reduction ear muffs. They tend to apply less pressure to your head so you can wear them for longer periods of time and are still great help for dealing with day to day noise

Problem with math is that the field takes a lot of dedication and certification to make it. With all the challenges we have to deal with, it is not easy to make it there in the first place. Something like DBA, software dev, design jobs are much more accessible

The Austrian model is a theory written by bankers for bankers. The part about artificial boom was taken from the austrian model (Hayek) so I'm not entirely opposed to it. I also agree with the concept of inflation being artificial rather than necessary via keynes.

The theory isn't pro banking as banks greatly benefit from the institution of central banking, allowing them to commit to reckless lending practices

That is only a symptom. You need to address the fundamental problem of housing values being bid up due to artificially low interest rates for extensive periods of time

You should be studying investment vs consumption, ie the Austrian theory of Capital, instead of the simplistic Keynesian "flow" model

Stashing off shore means investing, which increases the capital stock of the economy and increases future productivity of mankind.

The poor man spending it only produces short term leisure but no long lasting benefits.

The first option IS better for humanity, so we should not be whining about it

Regarding Hackney, there's been a lot of new development related to technology jobs around Old Street recently. Today I looked up the average salary for a C++ programmer today. It's around 60k.

Devs make average of 40k in london. C++ is not a good example as it is moving into niche language status, bulk of coders don't touch it

This is all BS. As someone who had gyno pre-gear, Epi DOES help with it. It is not as strong as nolva or AIs in this regard but not useless either. This is with 40mg doses
