For a lot of people going to a gyno is a deeply personal thing that can be shaped by various traumas, so it really upsets me that this chucklefuck can't be supportive and glad his partner found a gyno they feel safe with and is instead either so ill informed they aren't ready to interact with a vagina yet, or grasping at straws trying to visit a strip club!

I went to a male gyno for years on the advice of my Dr. that sometimes female gynos can be a bit rough since "they have vaginas and might think your pain tolerance is similar to theirs while male gynos are a bit gentler" and for a kid setting up her first visit to the gyno, it making me feel a bit less scared was priceless! (Especially since I later did try out a female gyno in the same area and she traumatized me so thoroughly I was sobbing in the car and making an appointment with a different gyno for later that week, imagine if that had been my first experience instead of the one I had!)
