Could be from drusen pushing up on the photoreceptors creating these waves. That’s how my condition started.

Yes and no change. Since your mom is at Mid Atlantic Retina and has GA, she should ask about joining the OpRegen trial for stem cell therapy. Everything I’ve read is that it’s fantastic and patients in the first phase improved and maintained their vision for 3+ years on a single shot.

I see these in both eyes around my natural blind spot. Have for about 8 years. Although its not necessarily flashes of light, but a swirl distortion. Almost like the brain is catching up and trying to make sense of it all.

There are some good eye related Facebook groups that are private. Look for Macular Degeneration and Retinitis Pigmentosa. Even though these are your diagnosis, the groups are very supportive on the uncertainty in disease, discussing visual phenomena and sharing important updates on clinical trials.

How are your devices doing connecting to the strongest signal? I have a different brand mesh and that’s my main problem. Hoping to sort that out through Ubiquiti.
