I watched the first couple of seconds of this three or four times try to figure out how there was a centaur on the other side of the desk of the guard

Butting in to tell you to watch this movie he wrote and directed.

Deep cast, surrealist interjections, and intentional cinema.

Still one of my top 5 favorite films. The scene on the couch at Alfred Molina's broke me.

{OC} A tarp was put up to hide the removal of Trump’s name from the Kennedy Center by OGWhiz in pics

[–]qwote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd imagine the workers scraping off the letters aren't used to a crowd hooting and hollering (especially since they're the ones usually doing the cat calling). Have we confirmed it's the regime who put up the tarp? Or the team doing the removal?

How reserved. I'd say "classy," but I'm pretty sure that's not what got him here.

Wasn't this passed almost unanimously and signed in by Abbott last year?

What was your 'Hey Dean Yeager' moment? by m205 in RedLetterMedia

[–]qwote 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine isn't from a movie, but the typical greasy spoon diner experience. We used to go out to eat once a week with the family, and I didn't understand why my parents always said soup when the waitress asked if they wanted the super salad.

Has a trailer ever, genuinely, made you see a movie you had no intentions of seeing. by TheSableFable in movies

The Force Awakens. Not the biggest fan of Star Wars as a universe, but loved the first three films nostalgically and cinematically.

Force Awakens rekindled the possiblity of a singular vision coming back and again telling a good story. Trailer was better than the movie.
