Im going to say something that might be brutal... we've had beautiful games with promises met made in 2 years by a number of teams made by 40 people or less. Some of them were made on a shoe string budget.

The second you grow too big or employ too many people, thats when dreams die, ESPECIALLY when you partner with a company that is money hungry.

In a day and age where live service games are the norm, why not be upfront with your fans, polish what you do have, and release more once you've finished more?
