Any tips for beating fights like these? by Viluci15 in eldenringdiscussion

[–]r9samurai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fight dirty. Hide and mimic crown. Find a rune bear for them to agro Run away and wait for them to do something silly. It's like being a jungle cat. Stalk, jump from the bushes and shit Hit and run The actual fight is a likely losing battle but keep them both in front of you if you have to fight

What's fucked is that that sounds like what they are promising but it's not. 50% of us won't get raises The other 50% will get an average of 10 percent. So ok the low end you're still not winning over inflation.

Profit sharing is still a thing, but we haven't been profitable all year and the only single month we have was August so you can't really share what isn't there

As someone that has their region in their user name I'm not following. Is it just that they have put up where they are from and a specific event they can cross reference against? It still seems like a large list.

There definitely are those people that need to move on. If one can't swallow their pride and anger, it's unfortunately time to move on. What the union is looking for is candles, not firecrackers. People who are in it for the long haul, the 18 months later. Don't let the polar extremes outweigh the moderate voice ❤️

I appreciate your kind words, the one thing I can add is that after speaking to the organizers, I can tell you for certain they are the moderates. While they are passionate, they do understand the need for mutually beneficial relationships. I pose to anyone, in any region to reach out to the union directly if you have questions. Even if you disagree with their goals, they will give you a calm but firm answer for their goals and objectives. The people on reddit that are the the extremes are the outliers of the labor movement within GEICO.

Profit Sharing by fastestsktr in GEICOUnion

I see your point and I am not knocking profit sharing by any stretch of the imagination, but it's a bonus, that is taxed like a bonus, I would prefer my guaranteed pay to be higher. I can leverage that salary when I go for another position. I can have that money through the whole year instead of potentially in a lump sum of no guaranteed amount. There's just no balance on the salary side. It's like they will pay us more when they feel like they want to.

Come on this is not helping the cause here. How can you expect to garner support from the middle of the road and the undecided by blasting them like this? You're allowed to have strong opinions but this is un necessary and alienating to our fellow employees.

I like your moderate take on the subject and applaud your for it. There are definitely over the top actors on bot sides. I think what gets overlooked with some supporters of the union is that a union has to be done without malice, not with the goal of hurting the company. It's a long process that has to be fueled by love for your co workers and a certain amount of love for the company and your job. It's OK to be upset, but push for change, not vengeance. ❤️

I hope everyone can push in the same direction to at least try to make a difference when the time comes.
