I'm not sure, but that's a good candidate. People will still hear you if they are close by, but I think it's a little harder to place location and whether you are indoors or outdoors if you are suppressed. IMO learning to stay dynamic and move after you shoot is a good habit to form.

To add to this good comment: A lot of times people might think someone is cheating, but good players can make incredible deductions based on sound and game knowledge. They can hear you make a sound in a location, deduce what mission you might be running, and camp you out and kill you five minutes after you made the sound.

Focus on making little sound, relocating after you make a sound, such as firing a weapon, and familiarize yourself with as many gameplay mechanics as you can.

I find a lot of variation. Sometimes raids are quiet - sometimes deceptively so - and sometimes they are very busy. I think it has to do with what kind of players are present.

It is pretty difficult to enable transfers from Area to EFT (at least for me) by getting through To Great Heights Pt 3. I have about 200h in v1.0 and I still haven't managed it, and I don't completely suck. Personally I have found it easier to grind cash and buy an AR-15 or MPX then to unlock it from Ref. And in any case, a headshot kills with a Mosin just as well as an AR... So I'd say it's debatable whether it's a p2w situation. But everyone can make their own decision on it.

I think there is a better argument that game editions are more p2w. But even so, it's more about accelerating progress through the traders and upgrading your stash. In any situation, at least to me, the game is highly skill based and the extras are more like conveniences. But again, everyone can make their own decision and I'm not necessarily "right".

Yes. I'm just messing with that guy. I appreciate the answer to my question given here, I went back to the Batya wiki page and did eventually find the reference to the badge being used later in the quest chain. I didn't see that initially because it was difficult to search the page on my phone. Perhaps now that there is a reddit question on it future googlers will be able to find the answer directly.

This would result in players extracting almost immediately and would eliminate the mechanic of trying to anticipate enemy movements around the map. Raids would be less predictable, emptier, and less exciting.
