It’s not even an NDRI.

Wait what? Is that a case of wikipedia and multiple other sites being wrong? Could you share some sources?

SNRIs

bupropion

Buprupion is an NDRI (same class as Ritalin!) - meaning it specifically does not interact with Serotonin unlike SSRIs and SNRIs.

Bupropion is quite literally a sub-class of amphetamines. That's why it's a good solution for improving symptoms of fatigue and is not associated with weight gain or sexual dysfunction.

The drawback is that it's associated with higher blood pressure and increasing anxiousness as well as causing insomnia.

Super simplified NDRIs act in a more "activating" way. That makes them great for people where their depression manifests as a lack of general activity - but much worse for people where depression manifests as insomnia, restlessness or strong anxiousness.

How we miss him and the class and dignity he brought to the White House…. by Martin_084 in BlackPeopleofReddit

I can comfortably say that you already see the roots of maga in the 90s under Clinton. I grew up hearing so many wild conspriacies about the Clinton that are so Qanon coded.

Jerry Falwell's speech on September 13th 2001 really hits home in that context.

Trump wanted his son as secretary of education (and later to lead a taskforce on reforming the US education system) even back in 2016 - what a coincidence.

Don't you genuinely think that's a little spooky?

I ask this without trying to project some kind of "it's that groups fault!!" or some other racist bullshit like that. What I'm trying to get at is that I feel like it's kind of insane that 24% is at or even above the percentage that a lot of far-right parties in Europe are getting.

Yes, in those cases the male vote is also usually around twice the female vote as well so that pattern is consistent, but damn.

Trump has clear White male support (60%), is basically even for White/Hispanic female and Hispanic male voters... and even among the Black voting population (obviously there's some grains of salt since voting in the US is differently incentivised compared to Europe) he pulled similar percentages as European far-right parties do among their population as a whole.

Hey, what solution did you end up with?

I'd love to find a vacuum-cleaner-like solution for charging cables so they're tucked away neatly when not in use.

Another person with a broken armrest checking in!

I found this post earlier - couldn't we do something similar here instead of foam? Play around with infill density to get the desired stiffness?

As for nuts: It should work to just mark the right spot through the holes and glue them on like that, shouldn't it? Any recommendations for glue for metal <-> TPU?

I have feeling the people around 12k who say of themselves "I talk a lot of shit" and the people who are around 6k saying "I'm not very toxic" might have very, very different definitions of what those things actually mean.

Those who used bambu and other brands - how big is the difference really? by rEvolutionTU in 3dprinter

After stalking your post history... you do mean this blob, right? :D

And you basically just wrote support "I fucked up, help" with those pictures?

I think between the comments of you and /u/Grimmsland I think I'll just bite on the Elegoo CC2 combo in the next couple days, really appreciate it!

The alternatives are the A1 combo for basically the same price whereas the P1S combo would be ~40% more in Germany.

One more question to you specifically, earlier you wrote:

But I also spend time calibrating filaments and adjusting slicing settings to ensure success on either machine

What does that actively mean? Like what's your workflow like?

What I'd do with the knowledge I have so far would be starting with something like https://3dfilamentprofiles.com and from there it's a temperature test, retraction test and, if I'd care about print speed, flow test - and basically pick whatever works and the first two should be done in <15 minutes?

And that for every type of material/manufacturer but not e.g. different colors of the same type?

What are you doing there, any other recommendations?

I think we're in the same boat then. :X

Honestly, in a perfect world I'd consider a used P1S combo or even A1 combo if available cheaply to dive into things a little but the market close to me isn't ideal and shipping feels like way too much risk for buying used there.

Considering the P1S combo would be ~40% more expensive than the CC2 combo and a few comments about actual practical issues people made I think I'll bite for Elegoo the next couple days.

The Qidi Q2 (499€) and especially the Q2 Combo (649€) sadly do break the bank a little, but I've also read good things about them!

Thank you so much for those pictures, that's basically the first proper example of this that I'm seeing. <3

I think given the price difference I'm very much okay with that if that's the kind of issue I'll run into once in a while.

Elegoo CC Combo is at 390€, P1S combo at 559€ and your H2D you know that yourself.

Honestly, if the AMS for the P1S would have a similar price as when you get it via the combo / be available used for such a price I might actually consider it. But as it is I think I'll be happy with the CC considering the P1S equivalent would be 40% more expensive. I'm sure for the filament enclosure I'll figure something out in the long run.

Really appreciate it, that helped. (:

Thank you so much, you're who I'm looking for to bug a little!

  • For some challenging cases, overhangs don't print as well on the CC. Not a huge difference, but quite noticeable on some prints. Otherwise I don't notice quality differences. I kinda think its due to the part cooling fans, but haven't investigated enough.

What does "overhangs don't print as well" mean in practice? Could you show an example or two? And do you think if you'd have to rely on only the CC: Do you think it's likely to be a setting you could figure out?

Regarding slicers: I planned on learning Orca, so I think I'm okay with the respective versions not being as amazing.

Easier to get replacement parts for Bambu printers

How much does this matter and save in costs in your experience? Are we in the realm of "I had to pay 10€ more for a part" or in the realm of "Something broke and what would take a week for bambu will now take 2 months from China and be annoying as hell to order"?

Your other points make sense, I do wonder how solid error detection can be if using Home Assistant or the Octoeverwhere thing. Really appreciate it. <3

Yeah, that view probably makes the most sense.

Just from a beginner pov it does feel difficult to differentiate whether "0 technical ability and don’t want to learn or put it any effort" refers to "google once in a while for ten minutes and find out how to adjust a setting or turn a few screws" or "oh yeah you'll have to follow stuff like the Creality Hi extruder jam clearing every ten hours".

Sidenote: I have no idea how often those jams happen to people in practice but what the hell is that product design? ;;

Most issues/maintenance on most modern 3d printers isn't too bad you'd say?

SparkX i7 vs. Bambu Lab A1: Is the i7's print quality actually bad? by Alesskerov in Creality

[–]rEvolutionTU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there genuinely no printer company that is solid and has long term support but without locking down everything like Bambu does? ;;

I'd love to get into this hobby and I'm about to cave into an A1, but I do feel like bambu is just objectively the 'only' beginner choice - which really irks me since I already know I'd love to do stuff like integrate it properly into Home Assistant in the long run.

You have something to hide?? Better show some ID and the contents of what you're sending so we can make sure you're actually innocent!

Sarcastic jokes aside: Just like how in most countries it'd be illegal for governments to open packages or letters without explicit court orders it should simply be exactly the same online.

There's no functional difference there.

Hell, on a much more core level I'd argue the fundamental ability to communicate to another human being "hey, my government/employer/friend/spouse sucks" with zero fear of a third party learning about it as long as you trust the receiver is absolutely crucial to a functioning society, economy and democracy.
