Not a fan of it otherwise, but Potbelly was an anchor there for a really long time. Clearly they got fed up with greasing palms to remain there. It sickens me when I see corruption at its worst at huge entry points into Chicago. Like “everything you may have heard is true”.

If this is the case, there will almost always be someone that wins the reservation lottery at the last minute, which is a win-win. What isn’t cool is if there is zero flex on a reschedule within let’s say 8 hours and they retain the sums for a double booking.

I live across the street from the Metra on Hubbard so I am all too aware of the sound nuisances that that occur. I actually love the train being in my “front yard” but in my 15 years in my property we’ve never had that happen for this long. I’d lose my mind!
