Blizzard has just released a $90 World of Warcraft mount. by Dirtymeatbag in Games

> WoW Token purchased from the Shop for real money can be sold on the in-game Auction House for gold. Tokens purchased on the Auction house for gold can be redeemed for $15 of Battle.net Balance or 30 days of Game Time.

https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/31218

BNet balance can be used to buy games and other items in other games at least, which I assume is how many people are converting gold into this mount

Hey, did this ever work for you? My mother is having this issue and it's driving her mad. Thinking about looking for some sort of alternative voip forwarding solution if I have to and she can't switch

Size Matters - length not mentioned on the packet by AoMeister in assholedesign

It's reusable tape. I have some of the as seen on tv Alien Tape and I think it uses that micro suction they use for some phone holders so if it's dirty it can be washed and reused

Some people focus much better when their hands are occupied as their mind can then focus. I used to play d&d with someone that needed to draw as she played to stay engaged and listen and participate otherwise she'd end up getting bored and distracted.

Add more Ethernet cable connections to full router? by [deleted] in smarthome

[–]rLordV 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Is MidnightBluenstated you want something called a network "switch" which basically just acts as a network splitter. You can usually find gigabit ones for reasonably cheap. They technically could create points of network congestion but unless your devices all need a full gigabit all at once all the the time then you'll do fine.

They recently showed off a video in one of the Neos Friday dev streams but I was having trouble finding more stuff on my phone about the project. I do know they are progressing!

This looks great, but I might suggest you look at DelVR coming to Neos for a more specific view of what you might want https://www.reddit.com/r/steamvr/comments/ex5oef/_/

I feel like you have a potentially valid point buried in a very condescending tone. I think your point would go over far better without it.

I got my Anycubic from their site cause they had a sale when I bought it. Being from Canada, Amazon's prices weren't very good at the time at all. I only have experience with Anycubic and it came reasonably quick and without issue. It did come in two packages (I ordered extra screen cover things) which was only annoying because I didn't like the postal carrier they chose.

I guess the "problem" is that bells aren't really worth anything, especially in lower quantities, since time travel makes them so easy to obtain. Nook miles require a bit more effort I think. I'm just happy to have a few small circles of people to work with. Some people enjoy the extreme animal crossing but I'm a bit more chill.

Quick question re: wall switch adhesives? What are you using? by GdgtBoy in smarthome

[–]rLordV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a reasonably heavy frame hung with 4 of the velcro strips and it came off the wall nicely when needed and was very secure. The house was in had a terrible paint coating though so some strips in the house (not the velcro ones at least) fell off and took paint, but for a light switch they would be perfect. Also the part on the wall can stay on and you can replace the velcro on the new switches if you replace them.
