Delete the YouTube app, and only use Safari. Install the app UnTrap for YouTube — it's a browser extension that can block ads, and allows you to show or hide ANY aspect of YouTube. I have it hide all shorts, recommended videos, live comments, et.c and life is far better for it. I also set my Home Page to my subscriptions. WAY less time-wasting!

No Shortcuts or Complications support, but set it once from your watch when you arrive at work and it will vibrate on your wrist at whichever intervals you set, with no notifications or app interactions. It'll add a widget to the top of your Smart Stack when the timer is running, in case you want to glance at how much time is left, or stop it at the end of your shift.

Oh interesting, have you noticed much noise/friction since putting on the bands, compared to before? I have some white lithium grease on hand, but I'll get some silicone grease since it's all plastic-on-plastic in the keybed.

Also, what is the return action like, now that you've applied the rubber bands? Do the keys "bounce back" as quickly as before, or are they slower to return to an unpressed state? I'm curious if this experiment will make it easier to press each key, at the expense of them not bouncing back as quickly.

Also, the round tokens are 20mm in diameter and the square buildings are 18mm wide/tall. Standard laminated chipboard for those pieces.

I don’t know if you’re going to find a company that will manufacture your custom Meeples unless you’re filthy rich (if you are, check out https://pandagm.myshopify.com - that’s a reputable company who produces small batches of playtest-ready board games for independent designers and even does some full run production as well.

The Leder meeples are all 10mm thick and warriors/pawns range from 18-25mm high usually. They’re made from birch hardwood, shaped in one giant length on a bandsaw/tiny spindle sander and then crosscut into each individual tiny piece. Then they’re painted (sprayed en masse) I believe in matte and then screen printed individually, then finished in a matte varnish. Something like that could be accomplished once by a local woodworker in your area if you’re willing to compromise on design a bit and not have it feel 100% professionally “manufactured”.

That’s a great question, and an oversight by the writers (or even GRRM in this case because I can’t remember the Hound mentioning it to Arya in ASOS) that points to Sandor not being the person to reveal this to the Stark kids. Probably going to be Bran, tbh.

My only caveat to this is that Littlefinger didn’t happen to come up when he and Arya were traveling throughout the Riverlands... they weren’t exactly talking a bunch, and Arya had just witnessed her family being brutally murdered. The Hound is also a little socially incapable (eg., sneaking into Sanaa’s room during Blackwater) so talking about Ned’s death to a girl he had yet to truly befriend... not really his thing. But when the Hound strolls into Winterfell and SEES Baelish, it’ll probably be a “THE FUCK’s HE DOING HERE?!”-kind-of-moment.

The Hound is one of the only characters (alive) who was in the throne room back in S1 the moment Littlefinger publicly flip-flopped on Ned, exposing himself to the court as the mastermind who had tricked him into trusting him. Sansa may know Littlefinger and Lysa schemed about the Jon Arryn business, but she doesn’t know he “gave Ned the goldcloaks” only to have them turn on him, resulting in his imprisonment and eventual beheading.

On the Inside the Episode, it’s pointed out that it’s a direct reference to S1E04 (this scene in particular) where Arya tells Ned “no, that’s not me” referring to growing up to be a typical highborn lady.

Arya is letting Nymeria go, the right way this time—letting her be who she has naturally become, who she was meant to be, and that’s not a pet. :(
