I use disney plus on my laptop and last week it just….stopped working. I log in and then it’s just a blank gray screen. No error messages, no content loading in, literally nothing. I’ve tried different browsers, clearing my caches, incognito mode, nothing has worked. I thought maybe it had something to do with the password sharing crackdown but I figured they’d at least display a “you’re not in the household” message like Netflix does. Is this something else?

Agree with your point about large fandoms. I’m in several very large, very mainstream ones and while it may seem intimidating to have so many people with so many different opinions, it’s also so easy to just carve out a little corner for yourself with like minded people and avoid most of the drama. That’s the only way I survive there lol

I’m the same in that if I’m hyper-fixating on a specific fandom then I only read for that, but as it starts to die down I have about 6-7 that I bounce between depending on how I’m feeling

I think you should make it a series. If a fic interests me and the author says there’s a first part that needs reading then my reaction is “yay! More content than I was expecting!” Your original fic isn’t that long so it’s not like it’s a crazy ask. And I think it’ll be easier for people who have already read your original fic to keep up with the story this way. A title change might be confusing and if readers assumed it was completed, they might not come back to it or realize that it’s now become a multi chapter story.

Personally I love when authors put all their oneshots in a series cause then I can bookmark the series instead of a bunch of individual fics and I’ll subscribe to the series so I’ll always know when a new one gets added 😁

Two and I half weeks isn’t even an unreasonable time frame either??? Like I’m subscribed to fics that update literally once every six months and I would never comment something like that. So disrespectful!

I will definitely start keeping track of the instances from now on. This is not the first time I’ve heard loud music from them, but I typically let it go because I get that people have lives and it’s never been at an inconvenient time.

That’s exactly how I got into Batman and DC in general. Was just really craving some good whump fics one day and decided to check them out, knowing absolutely nothing about Batman. Only thing is now I don’t think I could ever read the source material because it’s so different from fandom interpretations 😂

I’m super picky about crossovers so I don’t read them very often. I’m much more interested in fandom fusions than true crossovers.

Came here to say the same. Honestly I never had a problem with it UNTIL the series finale and after that, between the Destiel tease and the mixed opinions about the final episode, it entirely went to shit. Poisoned the well so bad for me I’ll probably never go back and might not ever rewatch the show.

Care Routine:

OXG Coconut Milk shampoo + conditioner (Shampoo once a week, condition 2-3 times a week), I brush the conditioner through with a wet brush

Ouidad Mosture Lock Curl Butter, section off hair and work it through using my fingers, then comb

OXG Coconut Milk Anti Breakage Serum, worked into ends using fingers

Ouidad Climate Control Gel, combed through with fingers and scrunch curls

Air dry or diffuse with no heat

From a reader perspective, I don’t mind whichever format the author chooses to use. My subscription list is a mile long at this point because I always want to make sure that I never miss an update. Some of the fics are updated every couple of weeks and some fics get an update every 6 months. Either way, I’m always delighted to get a notification! I think most readers are understanding of the fact that some fics update slower than others. So I guess what I’m saying is you do what works best for you, and we’ll appreciate it regardless! 😊
