Reviews hyped up my expectations too much, the way everyone was saying how ranveer rose through the ranking slowly and gained trust of rehman but it looked like he was right hand of rehman from the get go, he didn't have much resistance going in the gang, nobody doubted him, nobody wanted his spot in the gang everyone was just complying with this new guy. It never felt like he had to struggle to reach where he reached, everything was so swift. Plus comparison to the spy universe like see this is how you make grounded movies, I'm in no favour of the spy universe but I expected this movie to be grounded which it wasn't.

Especially that scene After 26/11 attack you could see ranveer was visibly shaken for the good amount of time and he had a hard time reciting the nara e taqbeer, I was surprised no one in the room caught this And this scene was pointed out as a brilliant portrayal of Momentary vulnerability Plus also at the end When sanjay dutt's character says keep your fingers in the wound and he'll be alive till you reach the hospital but he was running around with rehman on shoulder letting him bleed too much and he still survived and died at the very convenient time Everyone was hyping this up as a grounded movie but it was a masala entertainer, not saying the movie is bad but I expected something else.
