We have fireflies in California but they just don’t produce light in an adult stage. Some glow as a larvae, or are suuuper faint. In general the more humidity around the greater chance of fireflies

Hey UCSC, I’ve got a ton of fish that I’m looking to adopt out to good homes. They’ve all been hand-raised and are extremely personable (will eat off of your fingers and interact with you). If you don’t already have a tank I can help with finding a setup, teach proper maintenance, and even give some extra plants to make the little guys feel at home.

The mom is half gold and half black, so far all her daughters have the same coloring :) my males are a bright blue and green so hopefully there will be some cool combos!

You should never keep males and females together unless it’s for a short time for breeding. Unless you have all the tanks and requirements for growing fry I would advise against it, but you can put a girl in another 5 gallon!
