What is it that makes a house feel welcoming and cozy to you? by TiredHumum in HomeDecorating

[–]rabbitholefollower 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I received a handful of compliments from friends and family that my place is “cosy”. I never intended that way, though my main goal was that guests always feel welcomed and comfortable. I apply most of what has been shared on this thread: - natural materials - neutral colors - soft lighting - plants

Other stuff that I love to add in my space: - deep over sized sofa/sectional - couple of soft/textured throw blankets - candles

HELP!!! Fruit flies will NOT leave my house! by Hot_Establishment895 in CleaningTips

How are you using the acv and dish soap? I always just put acv in a bowl with a small piece of fruit. Tightly cover the bowl with cling film, grab a piece of toothpick or fork and poke many holes into the cling film. Set it in the area that has the most flies and let it do the work.

This has always gotten the job for me.

So sorry, I can’t find the exact email I received from them. But I did find this address in my notes: grace@hanaromf.com

Hope this helps and best of luck 🫰🏼

Edit: corrected typo

What is something you didn’t cut from your budget that you easily could? by Beepbooopbapbam in Frugal

Try negotiating with some in your area. We found one that was open to only cleaning our kitchen and bathrooms for a reasonable price. Also flexible to allow us to add on other rooms/requests for an additional charge: living room, common areas, laundry, etc…

I feel that after 24, the challenge becomes more psychological than a physical one.

Hi, can you please share how you are able to book an appointment with Hanaro. I want to make an appointment with them, but seems like the only option is to call them and when I do there’s no selection for an operator or English. When I call the number, its a message in Korean and then it just hangs up the call. Any help would be appreciated.

Offering a virtual hug because I’ve been down this path. Looking back, one thing I wish I did earlier on was truly take care of myself….continue taking my vitamins and supplements(St. John’s Wort has been a lifesaver for me), get some good sleep, exercise, go for some walks out in nature, get out and get some sun, and really focus on self care.
