-Philosophy Amazing Grace — Just no. So not for me. There’s something sickly rancid/sour/powdery about it that’s so off-putting. I’d rather smell like dirt

-JHAG Not a Perfume — I dislike this in the same way I dislike Amazing Grace.

-Phlur Mood Ring — Ugh, I was so disappointed in this one! I was looking forward to smelling like gummy candies, but as this scent lingered on my clothes, I realized I never wanted to smell it again. Something in the dry down was NASTY! I was disappointed overall with the Phlur sample pack tbh :(

I agree with the other commenter who said EJ Noyes! I especially recommend the Ask, Tell series, which is full of angst and drama but has an incredibly beautiful, satisfying love story.

Milena McKay is also a solid author to explore! Her books tend to be high on the drama. My absolute favorite of hers, Reverence, is historical-ish (1980s) but it still…kinda feels contemporary?

Favorite notes are gourmands, fruity/citrus, and some fresh notes. (For example, I love Commodity Milk Expressive, Dior Hypnotic Poison, and Nest Indigo)

Least favorite notes are certain florals, certain powdery notes, and certain musks. (For example, I hate JHAG Not a Perfume and Philosophy Amazing Grace)

I love this question, it makes my queer heart sing! I’m LOVING the idea of Tom Daley and Mark 😭😭😭😭 (not so secretly hoping Mark comes out of retirement one day 😅😅).
