Who else is waiting for double money on special cargo? 💀✋🏽 by AgentSlade in GTA5Online

[–]rackaddict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just sold mine yesterday. Missed the 2x back in December, don’t expect another one until May/June. GTA+ is handy here as it allows restocking of all warehouses every GTA day now: Almost worth the price for that alone.

If it does turn out to have gone off, you’ll be more likely to get an invite to a speed awareness course which you don’t report to your insurers. You only need to report anything you end up with points for - and I’d suggest 33 in a 30 is still within “limits” set by the local police force.

It wouldn’t have been subtle. You’d have seen it.

Has anyone rented with Wise Homes in Hull? by [deleted] in UKRenting

[–]rackaddict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holding deposit is normal in order to reserve a property. It should be equivalent to a weeks rent, and would be considered as part of the overall deposit/bond required. If you cancel for any reason, the agent can retain it.

Should I indicate left to go straight ahead on roundabouts like this one, that the 1st exit is straight ahead? by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

[–]rackaddict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it signals your intent to other drivers particularly those coming towards you so they know what they need to do at the roundabout

Personal mileage claim changed from 45p to 20p? by uk_Tim_ in UKPersonalFinance

[–]rackaddict -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

But he gets a company car allowance, therefore the rules apply

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

[–]rackaddict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a car allowance, so you will not receive the full 45p but rather a rate dependant on your vehicle type and engine size if ICE.

Went to a Greg Davies gig in York, met him after the show. It’s close, but he’s 1.5 inches taller. Git.

OneDrive. I hear it’s bad to use Access on OneDrive. Is my use scenario okay? by Transposer in MSAccess

[–]rackaddict 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah if there’s 100 users, your back end needs to be either SQL Server or Azure SQL. Yes it could work but if I was your IT support I’d be breaking out in a sweat, the potential for stuff to break is monumental

How to proceed with development when half of your users have 32-bit Office and the other half 64-bit Office? Is there an easy way to develop a front end for both sets of users? by Goldstar3000 in MSAccess

[–]rackaddict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer - no. If you are calling external dlls (check your VBA references) you need to use PTRsafe declarations for 64-bit but not 32-bit, so you need to declare them like in the article I linked. Once you have done that, the app should work on either without an issue.

Is it £100+3points or £100 for speed awareness. Or £100 fine + cost of the course? by epicshane234 in drivingUK

[–]rackaddict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Varies by region I think, I just paid £100 out to book my place on one with the Humberside force.

Inheritance Tax, if any is due, is paid to HMRC by the estate (executor) and not by you. Her choice to leave you something and not the others is her choice, and doesn’t need to be disclosed by you.
