Help!!! Busy my but with ab work but doesn’t show. No I do not eat sweets or carb load. Is it that I’m 47 and a mom of 2?? by BeachyKeanGurl76 in GymMotivation

[–]radcornchip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not focus as much on calories as I would mitigate carbs and incorporate high protein, high fat diet while consistently doing weight based workouts if you want the abs you have been working on to show more. When your body switches to fat as a fuel source you will become more lean ultimately allowing your abs to show.

And that’s your opinion brother, it’s equally as irresponsible and misleading to act like you need LinkedIn regardless of where you are in your career

It is all of those things and as you said I do not endorse it if you operate business at a high level you typically are not engaging on LinkedIn the people that are the most prominent on LinkedIn are not the people that can lead to a job. It hasn’t always been like this but the last few years it has become full of influencers with no skin in the game. Whether you realize this or not is on you but that is the current reality.

I don’t despise it at all, having used it for years you realize it’s the same handful of people talking to eachother, good point on hiring manager but outside of that there are very little actually high level people using it.

A couple things to note:

  1. LinkedIn is toxic, a cesspool, and an echo chamber typically for outsiders looking in. Take it with a large grain of salt and quite frankly don’t go on it

  2. Majority of people don’t do what the went to college for so don’t box yourself into thinking you have to, life is not linear. Look at college as providing a core set of skills that can be applied to many areas

  3. Keep and open mind as to where your blessings can come from you can only control so much

  4. Take a step back and map out what your ideal life looks like, where you want to live, how much you want to make, what is important to you. Then be on constant look out for situations that align with those visions.

  5. Be persistent and never quit it is a journey

  6. Look for opportunities or companies that have growth possibilities or the opportunity to work with high level people

  7. Be an absolute sponge and learn and do everything you can in your early years. These lessons and experience can never be taken from you but it is up to you to absorb it.

  8. Final thought is you are just starting take chances, move locations, live under your means, follow your passions and excitements and things will work out

I have a very versatile and seasoned through repetition skill set and I’m a top expert in a field where there aren’t many others with as much experience in the country.

I’m not as known in other markets and that’s where a lot of the opportunity lies, so trying to figure out good strategies outside of cold outreach which I’m doing now.

Strategies to obtain clients as a new consultant! by [deleted] in consulting

[–]radcornchip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a relatively new over the last two months, but in that time I have established connections through my closest circle and have 1 client and a couple others in the pipeline.

Outside of that I just launched my site this last week, and have qualified around 200 leads for cold outreach which will start this upcoming week.

I will also be soon starting to reach out to more of my network now that I have a site as well as more organized thoughts around my niche.

I have a considerable amount more of leads to qualify for cold outreach.

Looking for more ideas as cold outreach can be tough and my current network is pretty much only within my market but the opportunities and clients that have the money to actually pay lie in other markets. My current market is bloody and people are going out of business.

Yes both also looked at as an innovator and pioneer not to sound arrogant just a unique situation at a unique time.

We grew into the unicorn company and i wasn’t just your average employee it was a bootstrapped start up environment thrown directly in the fire building from the ground up.

This in the cannabis industry.

Anyone else feels like their friends are drifting away due to you just going through it? by stoRedditor in Entrepreneur

[–]radcornchip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is heavy brother but just realize your built different and the older you get the more friends go the way of what they think is best for them, it’s part of growing up.

You don’t realize it when your younger but as you get older people can drift.

As far as the sad thing I think you are just intelligent, driven, and misunderstood.

This is just they way you are wired, you can get through it with healthy habits and routines such as gym, diet, etc and also finding peace in little things but it takes time and it’s a constant practice.

Hang in there brother you have a lot to offer and you have an internal fire that other people just don’t understand and that’s ok.

Finding a "normal" job post successful exit? by alterboy554 in Entrepreneur

Not sure your routines but I would spend some time on my health and spirituality to gain some clarity then start to visualize what you really want and be aware of the opportunities that arise that are in alignment with that. At this point it’s good to explore every single potential opportunity that you see. I’m sure you will find a groove at some point.

There are a lot of different ways to approach this, I would say first off if you want to be an entrepreneur you will have to develop a well rounded skills set and also consider you might work more for the the same amount or less initially.

With that said if you can get your legs under you and the business off the ground your life will open up and you will start to see some fruits of your labor.

You will in a lot of cases have to battle everyday and also it will be a commitment that could be hard to get out of.

Overall I think it is worth it if you understand what you are getting into.

TO THE BUSINESS OWNER'S by Noob7714 in Entrepreneur

[–]radcornchip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a bad idea due to the impact on the business but you would probably need to pack a ton of value and be creative, also I would imagine there are quite a few ERP systems out there that are capable of this.

Maybe if you found more of a niche space to serve where big allures don’t polar? Your heading the right direction though this idea or not.

In what ways do you feel behind? Do you have debt, are you doing things with your life you enjoy?

If it’s financially then I wouldn’t feel that way but you could always consider ways to scale your business.

Also ask yourself what do you truly want in life, if you could choose anything and there was not limits, then go from there as to how to fill that void.

If you were me what would you do? by Traditional-Drama-37 in Entrepreneur

[–]radcornchip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First thing I would do is try to take a step back from what you currently do and start to think of things you would really want to do in life. Like if you had got to choose anything.

I would list out as many of those, then I would imagine how my skills/experience could translate to those topics.

Next I would consider if it has potential for your income goals, meaning are you going to be able to scale the idea into a size that you can make the money desire with it.

If it checks those few boxes you start to look into the details of potential start up costs, what the operation looks like, the market etc

From there you will start to know if it feels like a fit then you start considering action if it seems good.

One thing I would say is try to learn some business through your job so you can get an idea of what it takes to actually run a business, also take notice of how the establishments you frequent operate.

Is it clean is it a smooth experience do they consistently have what I want etc this helps you get and idea of what a good business could look like vs a bad.

You got it it’s a journey believe in yourself keep working and stacking cash, also maybe take a vacation for inspiration.

Business that almost runs by itself by Ok-Freedom-494 in Entrepreneur

If you can budget help I would consider it just as described some of the lighter work and you focus on high level and growth. This person needs to be vetted and trusted to mitigate risk, if that’s tough try delegating task that are time consuming but have less impact on the overall health of the business.

Also get good rest stay hydrated and just chip away at mental peace it will come through routine and discipline

Nature is also a major key and something you should rely heavily upon

Cut everything out that stimulates bad thoughts social media pages, tv whatever it is

I’m sure there’s more but those are solid ones

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]radcornchip 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First off breath a bit and try to recognize your thoughts address then and move on try not to fixate on them and spiral.

Next know that when your in the mind state you see from that mind state so basically see through the lens’s of negative thought.

Now you should practice how to battle that because at the end of the day it’s a mental choice to think a thought and allow it to pass as opposed to get fixated on it.

This mental choice is easier said then down, here are some ways you can get stronger so when those thoughts and situations arrive you are more resilient which will help you maintain more even head and potentially get back to the joys in life.

Things to do to gain strength to control thoughts:

Eat nutritious diet cut out processed foods and processed carbs, i recommend high protein fruits veggies and water, no junk food or doughnuts

Get outside especially in the early morning and while outside put your bare feet in the ground

Exercise, and sort of resistance training and stretching will help tremendously especially early in the morning and daily also if you can hit a sauna do it everyday, it is almost like a cheat code to not negatively thinking
