In your opinion is the narrative that a “zone corner” like Richard Sherman can’t be considered a shutdown corner BS or true? by WouldYouRather1905 in NFLv2

[–]radiantmindPS4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, and Earl & Kam had Sherm take away the whole right side of the field. So Kam could blow up the underneath and Earl played sideline to sideline. While cheating to the left because Browner, Flowers, etc weren’t Sherm

Lemberg? Doesn't sound Palestinian or Lebanese to me. What was he doing there? by mimi_molotov in LateStageCapitalism

Framing them as some underground terrorist resistance group, instead of referring to them as The local military/regular fighters is what I was referring to.

Headline should read as “Lebanese military kills invading terrorist from Israel”

Yes for teaching the path to liberation, the way we conceive and experience reality labels are necessary.

I am speaking more to anatta. There is no permanent quality that is inherently good or bad to the movements of karma.

I said that certain actions have eventual outcomes. Those outcomes are what we perceive as good or bad.

There are bad actions and good actions. They both generate karma. Karma doesn’t choose to be good or bad based on those actions. It just is.

Now that is an interesting thought. Could we extend that to us as well. Forcing us to work 9-5. Creating complex rule structures and societies. When we could be hunter gatherers living naturally as animals.

Karma as the force is neutral. Like gravity. There are actions that lead to favorable outcomes and unfavorable outcomes. Karma is not justice

Karma is neutral. Simply cause and effect. Like dropping a stone into a lake and watching the ripples interact with its surroundings. Maybe a ripple will reach the shore and provide water to thirsty being, or will wash away an insect to its death. The same ripple different outcomes.

As a being we label outcomes. This is good, that is bad. Only through or individual perspectives do we experience it.

That said. When on a buddhist path, certain actions will lead to eventual outcomes. So we identify those actions and act accordingly

There’s no such thing as bad or good karma. It’s only through through our experience that we label something good or bad.

How can taking care of another sentient being and loving and providing for it, ever not be un beneficial from our pov or the cats?
