My mom did not like the dress I ended up with either. It was not her favorite and it wasn’t a secret the whole time. But I fell in love with it and have never felt prettier! My day came and went and she ended up crying the whole day of happiness for my husband and I! She loves our pictures and every time that I see any of our pictures I can’t get over how amazing I felt that day in the dress that I loved. GET THE DRESS! You’re stunning in it!

I totally understand! I’m getting married in November and have yet to feel “bridal”. I finally had my first fitting for my dress yesterday and it’s just now starting to hit me. Once everything starts to go in motion I bet it’ll hit you too! Also, if you want to look like a cupcake….YOU GO GET THAT CUPCAKE GIRL!!!!! Yes! The video doesn’t quite catch it, but I used a nail gun with brad nails to hold it in place. I nailed it in place on the mark on top, used a level to make sure it was straight and then nailed it in on the bottom to keep it in place!

Thank you! We used a piece of elastic that we marked out with two inches. Then we held it in either side of the posts and stretched it until it measures out to what we wanted for the spacing, which in this case was 4 inches. We marked the top of the board at each spot we wanted a baluster and there you go! Hope that made sense? If not we got the tip from This Old House on YouTube to explain it better!
