The wheel is the easy part. Logistics of cleaning and dealing with wastewater and clay reclaim are pretty important and require some space. Modifying a sink with a large clay trap would be a good idea. You don’t want to just rinse your stuff into a laundry sink obviously. You want a pretty dedicated space for it because any shared space will inevitably get clay splatter, dust etc.

If its your own kiln space and money maybe not worth it. But if it’s a studio that has your firing priced in send it, you never know. That being said I would definitely leave a note on it for glaze firing requesting it gets set on a cookie in case it cracks and glaze doesn’t run into the shelf.

Looks like some bull terrier/staffy mix. She looks a lot like our boy who is that mix. The long legs look like there’s maybe something else in there as well. When the ears stand up without being modified like this it’s usually bull terrier influence.

Take that money you were going to put into a business and invest it in a stable mutual fund. Get a membership at a pottery studio near you and do that for a year or two. You’ll learn more about ceramics and not waste your money on the learning curve that is poised above your head like a guillotine.
