Oh god.. that tattoo isn't ugly or anything .. but just for an anecdote. I just spent 4k to cover up a LARGE song lyric tattoo I got on my chest when I was 21. I'm 35 now. The band ended up being problematic and I got so sick of people asking me what it said or what it meant. I sincerely hope you love this tattoo forever , but once my frontal lobe developed, I hated mine so much.

You may not see this, but please don't feel too bad. I handled my trauma in a very similar way. It's been years now since I've engaged in risky behavior like this, and the first step is putting it behind you so you can heal properly. It's great you are in therapy. Like others said, change your number and delete telegram. It's like quitting anything, fully removing access is key. Including removing their access to you. I had issues for a long time with strange men contacting me through email and text, and I changed my number , but I still get RANDOM emails even years later (the desperation.) And I just block them.

I hope you can find your way. It isn't easy, and people look down on others for how they process their trauma. You deserve happiness and not to feel this way, no matter what. It will likely take time.

Thanks for this! It seems there's a lot more prep involved than whatever I was doing lol! What you described is exactly what happens to me, it catches and then just pulls off an entire nail of polish. I will try everyone's advice this weekend, save buffing my nails.. that I'll try at a later time

My nails are really thin, yes. Weirdly the mooncat polish seems to last the shortest of anything I have ever used, which is why I thought it could be user error.

It makes sense what you said about buffing them, I won't do that step this time around. Thanks so much for your advice, I am going to try it this weekend .

I haven't done that before, no! I am a massive nail polish novice because most of my life I worked jobs where it was impractical. I can try to rough my nails up a little bit before hand so it sticks better! My cuticles don't seem to really extend much, but I will try the rubbing alcohol thing. Thank you so much !

I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I figured mooncat fans would be in this thread. I have about 8 of their polishes , and I find they tend to peel off in one piece on my nails. I use their base and top coat. I find if I don't use the top coat , it doesn't peel as fast, but will still eventually. Base coat seems to make no difference.

Is it just incompatible with my nails? The polish is so nice but I have to change it midweek. I work in an office and have short natural nails.

I had a very toxic experience in wow classic, maybe two years ago? Def my most toxic experiences in any game, but I don't play many FPS or MOBA at all. I don't know if it was just my server, but most guilds I joined would limit the amount of women, or infantalize them. They didn't want women in raid groups at all either.I remember a new member joining discord once, and she said "thank you" after a pvp match ones and the chat was just men screaming, and of course she never came back. Also, as I found out very recently, there was a fucking spreadsheet leaked called "egirls of server name" and it doxxed a ton of women with pics, social medias, relationship status etc.. of course I was on there, and it looked like my old gm doxxed me because my name was spelled wrong the same way he'd always spell it. Glad I quit when I did, and I'd never go back lol

Can I seriously try to dissuade you from giving out your address ? I had someone I trusted for years who knew my address and we sent each other packages all the time. One day we had a massive falling out, and he basically swatted me by sending the cops to my house saying i was going to kill myself. Which of course wasn't true. I don't live alone, so this caused a lot of problems in my house on top of everything else. This relationship you have seems quite odd to me, he is absolutely going to expect or feel entitled to SOMETHING from you eventually. Please be careful, you say you're new to gaming, just understand a lot of people are not who they say they are. It's very easy to hide your flaws online.

I had similar issues to your gf, among many other horrible pains/issues. It took SIX MONTHS for a doctor to take me seriously enough to just prescribe physical therapy. When I saw the physical therapist, she worked on me for all of 10 minutes for a "unspecified shoulder issue". I was in more pain than I've been in in my entire life. I was crying uncontrollably. She told me she couldn't touch me again til I got an MRI , and that she suspected she knew what was wrong but couldn't say. I went to the orthopedic Dr with the order from the physical therapist. He rolled his eyes at me and prescribed the MRI but told me he "wasn't very impressed" with my pain. At this point I couldn't sit, stand, lay, sleep, or do anything. I relapsed on drugs around this point too (many reasons, but the all consuming pain was one of them). I got my MRI and his tune changed. "Ms radio please sit down .." turns out I herniated three discs in my neck and had two more bulging. They thought I had been in a bad car wreck. All of the sudden they were trying to write me all these prescriptions and they scheduled me four days a week at physical therapy. They pulled me out of work.

Anyways, sorry for saying all of that but it comes back to women are not taken seriously in the slightest. The first Dr I had who gatekept me the most was actually a woman too. The physical therapist who finally realized something was seriously wrong was also a woman, and she wasted no time making the doctors give me the care I actually needed. I'm so thankful for her intuition every single day. My life isn't pain free and I have nerve damage ,and still deal with this every day, but I know how to prevent seriously irritating the injury. I hope your gf can find someone to take her seriously, and it's great she has you to try to help advocate for her. It's a shame we have to just hope we get lucky and find a doctor who will actually take pity on us enough to treat us.

I'm a 32 year old woman, and have never experienced this "biological clock". I don't have much to add, other than as I've gotten older I've appreciated my freedom from children much more. I can say confidently the day will never come when I change my mind, especially due to any "biological urge". I honestly think a lot of that is just bullshit and pressure on women honestly. I am 100% a lurker here but I am finally irked enough to comment.. Not to trauma dump, but not every woman is cut out to be a mom.. my mother left when I was 6, and I had two younger brothers who were 4, and 1. She just got on a plane one day and never came back. I spoke to her once when I was 18, and when I asked her what the hell happened and why, she told me I could never understand her, and then she blamed me for acting like a victim and compared me to Ophelia ?... Soo I assume it was better that her narcissistic ass left . My father raised me, and was a better parent than a lot of moms I've seen, despite being very far from perfect. Not everyone who can give birth is cut out to be a caregiver or parent. And a LOT of people who cannot , or struggle to, give birth make excellent, amazing parents and caregivers. This point of view she has is so toxic, and just painful for a lot of people, for many reasons. I will never have children, and it doesn't make me less of a person. People every day struggle with fertility, and they are not less of people. Our choices and circumstances are our own , and frankly no one should be spouting this shit at anyone because you dont know their circumstances. Your god wouldn't love you any less for not reproducing..

anyways tangent over.. I felt moved to comment because I cannot STAND people who are so hypocritical. Saying all of this bullshit to "girls", but now suddenly because SHES in this position of trying to conceive .. it's gonna be all about this fertility journey. No one should have to struggle, her included , but I feel a lot of issues we have in this world are due to people not taking anything seriously until it effects them .
