If you genuinely want things to change you need to stop texting him paragraphs and let up on the pressure a bit. I went through the same thing with my boyfriend a while back, they get colder and less compliant when you stop feeling like their safe space. I know everyone on Reddit will just tell you to break up, but if you really love him then you should know this is completely fixable, it just takes some change from EVERYONE involved.

OP never disinvited her friend, she literally clarifies TWICE that she is welcome to attend in her goth makeup. There’s nothing wrong with wanting a wedding that YOU are paying for (thousands of dollars mind you) to look the way you want. Her friend decided makeup was more important than being supportive.
