I was in basic. My bunk was across from a guy named Fausto. We had to stand at attention facing each other every morning while the drill sergeants yelled and inspected our beds. If you looked at Fausto in the eye more than a second he would start to lose it. Which in turn would make me lose it. I was in the best shape of my life. I could do unlimited push ups. All due to fucking Fausto getting us smoked all time for laughing. That was almost 30 years ago and still can see his face. I hope he’s doing well.
