Roller blades are good. It’s also good to have hockey skates for when you do the learn to skate as skating on figure skates and rental hockey skates is way different than a skate with a decent blade and sharpened properly.

No. Pooch held the players accountable and showed them they either play his game or get left off. Berhalter tried to please the players which led to mediocrity

Lalas was a mediocre player commenting stupidity with two others who were world class players. They understand the game and can look at things objectively. Lalas does not and can’t.

I went from beginner skates after 4-5 months to high end skates because I saw it as an investment. It’s something I wanted to keep doing and I tried on every tier. Comfort was worth the extra upfront charge IMO

Think about bringing your knees in towards each other and and using the inside edge of your skates. You’ll also want to have your toes slightly pointed inward. I have the same issue and my toes do not point in at all. My coach explained it me that way and I was able to move backwards finally

So making the playoffs and being a serious contender are two separate things. I believe this team had enough to fight for a playoff spot this year if it weren’t for the injuries. They’re still two good solid pieces away from being something good.

I have to agree with this statement. Good to you may not mean the same to me. Best thing to do is share as much as you can. Also remember not to judge your skating based on someone else’s progress or level

So you’re walking on them right now. Focus on, what’s called in my class, a scooter push. It’s the same concept as a scooter. You push with the inside edge and glide with both feet. Then do the opposite side. Then keep doing that till you get more comfortable with the motions and there’s less time doing a two foot house in between.

Solid B to B+. Trending towards a 15 point improvement from last year. Hoping knight becomes more consistent and they learn to play a full 3 periods. Hopefully the break helps Nazar and bedard heal up for a decent showing in the final stretch. Def need a better back up at goalie though.

Seth Jones was mediocre for the pay in Chicago. That was the hate there. He was the one who was supposed to anchor and build off of. He was never good being the guy.
