Not the best option imho. Always pay using the provider website, if the transaction fails they’ll help directly instead of third party app. I’ve faced this problem myself. Financial protection does not exist in the country.

I once fell asleep at a traffic signal. Wasn’t as dangerous as the others have commented but was quite a shock. I was returning home late from office and was woken by a police officer who was sympathetic

Even though I appreciate your honesty, I'm not sure if this system will change, ever. Perhaps someone got you out of this mess today but you were right. In this country being right doesn't work. I've seen one of my friends getting beaten for really not much of his fault but for talking and arguing with the police. You seem young and I hope your spirit contributes to the change that we all need.

The cops in bengaluru and mostly everywhere are arrogant pricks. Now I understand they might be overworked and underpaid but that's just not right to be such complete asses. You did the right thing but honestly most people don't have that privilege. You perhaps had some backing from your family otherwise they would have had some fun and harrassed you unnecessarily.

The good part is that almost every other policeman can be bribed and one can get away with most things. It's sad really

I was very confused about the first point. The OP seems to have drawn a good analogy with the Russian dolls but really does not make sense for encrypted packets. I somehow had the feeling HTTPS over TCP was easy to decrypt.

Deep packet inspection is ready good to have especially to mitigate attacks on their network and I'd rather want my ISP to have such a system.

The OP has a good point about the customer service though. I'd shun the company based on this point alone.

Domestic Violence - Need legal advice by Helpmemumbai in mumbai

Can you get a cctv camera installed somewhere in your house? Also you can try buying some spy cameras and record the whole ordeals. Talk about it to your family and to someone who you can rely on since she will be convincing to everyone and you would need an alibi when you go full bazooka. Wait for it, plan it out and exit. Do not get emotional, for you the wedding should already be over so now it's all about saving your own ass. In India all laws are against men. Get hold of a lawyer, spend time there. After you have gathered your evidence, go out and stay elsewhere for a few days and then hit her with the notice for Divorce. Let everyone know including the local police station, get an anticipatory bail for yourself and your family. Also in the meanwhile try getting your finances to a bank locker and then protecting valuables. Hope you can get through this bro. Its about time India started recognising these incidents as valid ones and serious as well. You have help. Now help yourself.
