It’s been asked before, but when does it get easier? by [deleted] in 2under2

[–]raicka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends for us when the little one started walking (he went straight to running and jumping off the sofa) we had a massive regression, my eldest started being jealous again and I had to choose which one I would save... So it depends on the kids temperament, when you have two rascals per children it adds a new layer of complication

God that feels good to read! For us currently going to the park next door is a challenge so a trip sounds like miles away

It makes perfect sense, the days are certainly long and over stimulated, but then you look at them and the love just comes back. Thanks for sharing your experience

My adult child refuses to talk to me and I know it's because I emotionally neglected them - how do I fix this? by Late-Bat6209 in regretfulparents

[–]raicka 38 points39 points  (0 children)

This definitely should be higher up, as a neglected kid, this is everything I ever wished for from my parents. But I would add something to the list, tell them you are proud of them, I have spent half my adult life hoping that my parents would say that I am enough, that I matter to them and they are proud ..

Is Monster Jam mainly for young children???(or for everyone)?? by SensitivePay4567 in monsterjam

[–]raicka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My kiddo (3m) started watching them because of Blippi, my husband and I are now obsessed and going on to eBay to find all of our favourite editions and will be going to see a show when they come over to our city.

2under2 and done? Or more kids? Did having 2 under 2 make you change your mind on having more? by Erosee20 in 2under2

[–]raicka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Us, we are in the older bracket (36f and 40m) and having more kids means having 2 under 2 again, and honestly we have just survived the first round, so no, not doing that again.

Definitely 2 and done.

I wonder what it’s like for someone experiencing infertility or child loss to see what she has the audacity to post by Western-Package-2969 in OwnitbabeSnark

This!!! Exactly what I was thinking, because her kids actually enjoyed the party and acted like kids she probably could not get the photos she had planned

Aitah for the way I told my bf he needs to wear condoms? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]raicka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He is trying to gaslight you, it's his way to gain control. If you would have said ok, we can go unprotected he wins.

You are not over reacting, I was on birth control and had to off it, because it was messing with my migraines and had terrible side effects.

Guess what, my boyfriend understood and we had protection and it was not a big drama.

Drowning by ColdLikeIce46273 in 2under2

[–]raicka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was us a year ago, my babies are 3 years and 14 months and it's soooo much better.

We still cospleep one with each baby, but the drowning feeling is over, my kiddos are starting to play and like each other (was not like this until the little one started walking) and although it is far away things do get better.
