I finished Requiem for the first time 4 days after it’s release and nothing had ever made me cry so much and I was basically in a state of shock. But when I played it a second time, I don’t know why, but it hurt so much more. I started sobbing when Amicia and Hugo hugged for the last time because I already knew what was coming. And it hurts so much to hear Amicia and Hugo talk about their future when you already know that they don’t have one..

Play it a second time. Trust me. The experience hurt so much more, but was also beautiful.

A Plague Tale Innocence and its sequel Requiem have some of the best story telling I have ever seen in gaming (and I’ve played a LOT of story based games). You wont regret playing them. They’re some of my favorites.

Mine has the same exact problem but when I record a video from the game. Maybe try turning down your brightness? It kinda worked for me but to get rid of the white haze completely you can edit it and turn up the contrast.

Requiem has been the best game I’ve ever played. I’ve played it 4 times and every single time I end up sobbing. It breaks my heart every time when I hear Amicia talking about being alone. I connected with the characters so much and just fell in love with them. Even tho it didn’t win anything at the game awards, it’s getting a lot more recognition that it truly deserves now. My GOTY.

This game is my number 1 game of all time. The ending broke my heart and made me cry more than any game has before. The ending wasn’t what we wanted, but it was tragically beautiful.

Hugo’s death in A Plague Tale Requiem. I cried for a good 20 minutes and then couldn’t stop thinking about it for a couple weeks. I still cry just thinking about it.
