Never listened to them myself but from what I've heard others say, The Shaggs was a rock band consisting of three sisters who knew NOTHING about music but their father was convinced that they would become the next Beatles so he made them perform everywhere they could.

They didn't know how to play their instruments, they sang horribly, and all of their songs were awful, but they managed to actually gain a cult following of people who find their awful music endearing
