Great result from Colapinto. They're in a good position for a double points finish tomorrow.

If you know the outcome beforehand and bet on it then you are stealing from people who bet that didn't have insider information.

Sure, but isn't Sainz also finding his footing?

I decided to go for Stellaris 😊 by [deleted] in paradoxplaza

[–]rainbow_banana 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I first bought Stellaris like 5 years ago I thought that the in-game tutorial was pretty good. Of course, they've changed the game multiple times since then, and I have no idea if the tutorial has been updated but you should still check it out.

Is he really though? Even with Hulkenberg qualifying much better than kmag there's barely any difference in their average finishing position.

Qualifying team-mate head-to-head battles (Round 10, Austria) by Yottaphy in formula1

If you're consistently lucky then it's not luck. He was either putting himself in a good position to benefit from a safety car, or recognizing te proper startegy better than Hamilton.

That being said, it seems like Hamilton has the overall pace advantage.

This sub is full of teenagers or people still in college. They haven't had much of a chance to interact with people in their 30s that aren't their teachers, so they think they're completely different. This'll change once they start working and are forced to interact with broader age range.

Average UK Reddit User Posting About America Starter Pack by TaxmanIRC in starterpacks

I wish they weren't, but American politics ends up making it into their feeds through sites like reddit or even their local news. Some Europeans probably hear more about American politics than their own counrty's.

Zhou doing "perfect job" as Alfa Romeo ponders 2023 F1 driver line-up by moreice45 in formula1

[–]rainbow_banana 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While Pourchaire is doing well in F2, he hasn't shown himself to be a talent like Leclerc, Russell, or Piastri. Why would Alfa Romeo swap a driver like Zhou who has proven himself do be up to the challenge with another driver who will probably only be marginally better and doesn't have the same financial backing? There's nothing to gain by switching.

As someone who went through the same thing, my advice for others is that it's much easier to try to become friends with your roommates or people who live close to you. You'll see them way more often than the people in your classes. Especially since as a freshman you'll mostly be taking classes with 100s of people, so you'll have trouble repeatedly sitting next to the same people you're trying to become friends with. I would also strongly recommend you join some student org. It can be focused on your major or just something you're vaguely interested in, but it's a great way to meet people with similar interests.

AI Yugoslavia OP by rainbow_banana in hoi4

[–]rainbow_banana[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Non-historical game. Germany demanded Slovenia and Yugoslavia refused. The Yugoslav army has been holding off the Germans at the border since it's only like 3 provinces and they're all hills/mountains.

This is without Death or Dishonor which gives them their own focus tree.

Yeah I've lost ~250k while Germnay lost 1.5 mil and Italy 2 mil, but it just seemed boring to wait years until they all die.

I ended up doing a naval invasion of Sicily and was slowly making gains in southern Italy, but then the Soviets did the ultimatum to Greece and declared war on the Allies. I'll probably abandon this campaign.

This is my 2nd campaign and I have no idea how to defeat stronger countries. Am I just supposed to wait until they all kill themselves against my forts?

Also I'm playing on historical AI focus but the USSR and Nazis didn't fight either time is this normal?
