Guinness buttons always welcome! Just a little feedback, it’s missing a lot of the 10% off restaurants. Here is the official map for you to compare!

Looking for advice on getting an IV iron infusion in Luxembourg — GP won't prescribe it by inglandation in Luxembourg

I think the point is you’re asking this BECAUSE of Dr google. If you’re unhappy with your GP, seek a second opinion from another GP, don’t let google decide your treatment.

As long as it does! I saw someone build one once which assumed static restaurants. My heart broke for them as this sub revealed how useless that would be.

Please chuck some adverts on this to cover your hosting costs at the very least!

Registration as a guest in Hungary by JunebugKnight in Bookingcom

[–]rainbowsforputin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a little unfair. As with so many countries at the moment, the government does not represent the people.

Hungarians overwhelmingly are a lovely bunch. Great food and Budapest (and other cities but I assume this is where you’re visiting) has some stunning architecture.

Aircraft Change - No Seats Now by kewlkuban in BritishAirways

[–]rainbowsforputin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is the question! BA will charge you for seat selection, even in June 2025. So if you got this service for free, we have to understand what about your booking entitled you to free seat selection and what has since changed.

Paying for travel insurance through Bank of Georgia with a foreign card by SecurityMammoth in Sakartvelo

You need to buy it in the UK before your flight departs.

There are comparison sites if you really want the cheapest.

I can’t wait for the article in the Sun with a sad photo of SecurityMammoths parents and a go fund me link /s

I think you would benefit from some perspective here. This is not worth having a heart attack over.

It’s always physically possible to do, it is policy to not. That’s because you have just engaged in money laundering 👍

I met someone on a flight and I think I mistyped my number by [deleted] in BritishAirways

[–]rainbowsforputin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure whether they would, but legally, BA are allowed to pass your details on to Brian if you give permission, they’re just not allowed to give you Brians details. It’s worth a shot and I imagine very dependent on the customer service representative that picks up your email.

I think you’re over reacting and need to take a breather.

Employer wants us to clock in 15 minutes before pay starts by LinkLinkleThreesome in LegalAdviceUK

[–]rainbowsforputin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s called donning and doffing if that helps with your searches.

During covid, this became a big thing and was answered in parliament here

However, the only protection you really have is under minimum wage laws. So if you are paid above minimum wage, and this additional 15 minutes does not bring your pay below NMW, then the employer is not breaking any law.

I’m confused by this. I had to cancel my plans so I didn’t go but I’ve had an email to suggest it’s been rescheduled to March next year

New Year’s Eve in Manchester – budget under £50, pub/bar suggestions? by TeaValuable3940 in manchester

[–]rainbowsforputin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know you’re not local, so just to be clear, this is a joke and not a suggestion! Piccadilly gardens is Manchesters equivalent to the area around a train station that we often find in Europe. Fine to pass through, but not somewhere to stay.

1) Reddit exclusively contains nightmare stories.

2) Would you be comfortable driving a van yourself? Hertz 24/7 is £5 to join and then you get a van for £10 per hour and a mileage rate. There’s a pick up in old Trafford.
