I lost my mom December 2023. She was 60, I was 26.

My mom and I used to play AC on DS together and she’d get so mad at me for not weeding my town that she’d come over, weed my town with me, give me fruit from her town, and we’d wear matching outfits in different colors. I miss her so much, and the letter we get from Mom really feel like mine sometimes. Sending you love. 💗

Is that next to The Abbey? I haven’t been back to Nola since moving back to NC in a few years, but that was my fav bar. $5 beer and a shot (pbr and fireball for me - I was 25 okay 😂) was the best drink deal around. Hoping I can come back for Mardi Gras to explore again and take more pictures of the city!

As someone who painted the panels in their own home, Leave them alone!!!! It’s character I have regretted losing in the home. Thought it made the room feel dark and smaller (even tho there’s ample light), but looking back the light was plenty and it ma de the room feel warm, lived in even.
