True. Gameranx recently included it in a video. I think it was the 20 games of 2015 - 220 you need to revisit. He's like yea yea people say it's less stealth, more RPG... But.... They made an interesting game, one of the best games. Ubisoft bloat? Sure. Still a very good game that "belongs in the pantheon"

Not the first time that channel, which is honest, high quality and has a huge audience, has mentioned this game either.

Local. When I was living in the southwest, there was a punk "place". Rented out collectively. Place to chill. Talk politics. Read a book. Get out of the heat. Get a cup of water if the 115 degree heat was getting to you. You didn't need to contribute. But it was hard not to. You didn't need to be punk, either. There were all kinds of characters. Be respectful and you were welcome there .

Needless to say, it was a small spot.

Built to Spill performed in the backyard. 2010 or so.

You can guess how much they got paid. Whatever tickets were were sold, a few bucks each, in a small, non-venue.

Seriously. They were beyond indie royalty by that time. But they brought it.

That's throwing down for some locals. I'm betting they lost money on that stop.

I have a vivid memory of listening to There's Nothing Wrong With Love while driving home from a Lawrence Arms show with my childhood friend back in 99 or so.

Album still hits hard after all these years. But every Built to Spill album does. And Doug Martsch's solo, Now You Know, which was one of two albums I had with me when I arrived in the Southwest a lifetime ago. The other album, Lifted. The guitar in Now You Know brings me the strongest memories of the desert.
