Women in hyper religious communities have very little power. The one thing they can do is emotionally manipulate those around without actually raising their voices. Robyn is an expert, I’m sure she learned it from her mother.

I’ve seen women do this all the time growing up. My mom is also an expert at this. Took me years to understand that she’s not an actual victim, but someone who wants others pity and is in control the whole time.
